The mission of the Babak Najafi Memorial Scholarship Fund (BNMSF) is to support the continued education of student athletes who are dedicated to athletic excellence and academic success by providing such individuals with financial awards to be used at an institution of higher learning.
Additionally, BNMSF supports local sports programs by providing assistance in the form of monetary donations and/or continuing education and healthy living advocacy.
The program was launched in 2005 in memory of Babak Najafi, and since its founding has provided more than $15,000 in scholarships to 15 students.
